Kids-First Ministry

Our children mean the world to us. At Saint Mark we strive to put our children first, the way Jesus did when he was here on earth.

Likely, the most well-known story of Jesus’ interactions with children is in Matthew 19:13-15. As people were bringing children to Jesus for him to touch and bless, the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said:

“Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children. And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.”- Matthew 19:14-15 (NLT)

Jesus not only welcomed the children, he took time to bless each one of them individually.

With Him as our example, the Saint Mark Youth Ministry is helping children and youth thrive at home, school, and with friends.

Our vision is to create a place where youth can grow, serve and lead.

Our kids are learning what it means to love your enemies as much as your friends, how to deal with negative peer pressure, how to serve others, and most importantly, how to be life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
