Saint Mark Helps: Learn more about how you can be a part!

Grow in Giving

Thank you in advance for your generous gifts!

When you worship God through giving, it’s a sign of obedience to his Word, but it’s also a response to the blessings he’s given you.

You’re investing in your future. When you give, it’s your faith in action… you believe God’s promise that he will continue to meet your needs and give you bountiful blessings.

“‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!'” – Malachi 3:10 (NLT)

Because of givers like you, Saint Mark has the resources to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our members and our community.

Your donations help to support:

  • Operational needs of the church
  • Outreach ministries
  • Educational materials
  • Educational scholarships

There are several ways you can give. Click here to give online, drop your gift in an offering basket at a Sunday or Wednesday service, or mail your gift to:

FAQs

1) What is a tithe?

A tithe is, simply, one-tenth of whatever you bring into your home financially that you then bring to God.

2) How much should I give? On the gross? The net? What about my income tax refund?

You should give based on money that passes through your hands, whether it be your paycheck, tax refund or any other form of income. Keep this principle front and center:

“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.” – 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NLT)

3) Where do my tithes go?

Your tithes help to support the awesome task of winning souls to Christ; from keeping the lights on to purchasing food to feed the homeless.

4) Will I be saved if I tithe?

No, tithing does not grant you salvation. To be saved, you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God. Tithing is a sign of obedience to God and faith in his word that he will meet your needs

5) What if I don’t give tithes?

Not tithing does not mean you are not saved; however, it does mean you are being disobedient to God.
