Roddy E. Collins School of Ministry (REC SOM) was established with the goal to provide Christian education to all believers in Jesus Christ. It does not matter how long you have been saved or your church position, REC SOM was designed with you in mind. Our desire is to minister to the many who are in the pews and not just the few who are in the pulpit.
This academic school year REC SOM offers a Certification in Theology; a Certification in Spiritual Maturity; and a Certification in How to Study the Bible. All curriculums are one-year in length.
Classes are held weekly on Monday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. via Zoom with the exception of holidays. When a holiday occurs on Monday, classes will resume on Tuesday.

Remember, if you are able to continue making payments to your creditors, please do. For those who are not able to, you may find these options helpful:
- Contact and call all creditors for deferred payments for two months or more. This applies to Auto loans, credit card debts, mortgage loans, and more. You can also contact your utility companies for deferred payment information. The President and state governors have asked businesses to work with the American people in terms of finances.
- For renters, landlords have been asked not to evict people doing this period, however, please speak personally with your landlord. There may be important information you need to know about lesser or deferred payment options specific to your housing situation.
- Take a look at your budgets and make the proper adjustments based on your current income. For example, if you are paying $250 a month for AT&T Uverse, and you are only watching a few channels, you might want to lower your plan.

Classes normally meet in a smaller classroom setting and are not streamed. However the response was so great during the first session that we provided streaming content. We have made that content available below for continued use by the public.
